The heart of this superbike is a redesigned 999 cubic centimeter four-cylinder engine that produces an incredible 205 horsepower and 83 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine weights an impressive nine pounds less than the last version, is narrower, and utilizes BMW’s ShiftCam technology to optimize the engine’s valve timing and lift for optimal response even at low engine speeds.
